Jackie Robinson Is Missing From “42”

While Brian Helgeland’s biopic “42” is an ok movie, for me it lacked one crucial element – the man the film is supposed to be about Jackie Robinson! I wanted this to be the definitive movie on Robinson’s life but instead walked away with as many questions about him as I came to the theater with. Calling on Spike Lee to make a true biopic on this iconic hero!

Evil Dead Is A Gorefest That Misses The Horror Mark

The best scary movies – like “Paranormal Activity 1 and 2 – leave you scared once you LEAVE the theatre and are in the dark confines of your home. However, The Evil Dead is cartoonish and will not jar your nerves even if you hear a bump in the night.

He’s BACK! Con Man Priyantha Silva Hits Joe Fresh 1st Anniversary

A couple of years ago Radar and Gawker broke the story of notorious con man and partycrasher Priyantha Silva, who swanned around New York claiming to be the producer of various films. I wrote this back in 2016. But, Lord knows, I need good fortune in 2025 after having another one of the most tumultuous years of my life. So, I am reposting this story with the hopes that we will all — individually, and as a nation — have good fortune in 2025.
