Spring seems to have finally sprung! To ready your home for the warmer months, The Maids say “don’t forget to make the switch during your spring cleaning routine.” Do the following:
The best scary movies – like “Paranormal Activity 1 and 2 – leave you scared once you LEAVE the theatre and are in the dark confines of your home. However, The Evil Dead is cartoonish and will not jar your nerves even if you hear a bump in the night.
A couple of years ago Radar and Gawker broke the story of notorious con man and partycrasher Priyantha Silva, who swanned around New York claiming to be the producer of various films. After a prison stint for grand larceny, he’s back having made his debut at the recent Joe Fresh 1st Anniversary Party. Let this be a warning to party planners and clippers all over NY. With the Tribeca Film Festival just days away, it will be fun to see what film he now claims to be attached to. Perhaps a remake of “Jailhouse Rock” or “Midnight Express”?
This month’s edition of Celebrity Dish with A Sunglasses Twist, sponsored by the Sunglasses Shop, finds us revisiting the on-again/off-again shenanigans between the star crossed thugbirds Rhianna and Chris Brown, shocked that Sean Penn would raise a racist child, supporting our pleasingly plumb and preggers favorite gal, Kim K and more.
Combining stunning action sequences, a cameo from action legend Bruce Willis and the unforgettable campy one-liners we have all come to expect from this genre, GI Joe: Retaliation is sure to please. From rip-roaring start to nail biting finish, this baby delivers and is a must-see for any serious action fan!
On Sunday night, TGATP had the honor of being invited to Raymi ( West 24th St. b/tw 5th and 6th) for the inaugural Sunday Supper event. A smorgasbord of Peruvian culinary excellence, this is a must-do for every New Yorker, who truly loves good food. The menu is extensive with something for every taste. And best of all, the wait and management staff made us feel at home with every need quickly attended to.
I have always hated cleaning and can’t believe that I still don’t have live-in help! Here are some great tips from The Maids. And I suggest you use Meyers or Ecover products, make that face up, throw on your sexiest lingerie and pump your favorite tracks to make it all less painful!
I wrote this back in 2016. But, Lord knows, I need good fortune in 2025 after having another one of the most tumultuous years of my life. In addition, we are idiotically going into a very scary time with a criminally insane, coup-staging, convicted felon, serial rapist, and complete moron as the President of the United States. So, I am reposting this story with the hopes that we will all — individually, and as a nation — have good fortune in 2025.
