This Thanksgiving, my thoughts are with my fellow New Yorkers. While Sandy may have struck us financially and materially, we can all give thanks to be alive. I am also thankful for an end to a contentious political season and the start of the holidays. Remember to give thanks for all the great and small things in your Life and have a Happy, Joyous Thanksgiving!
As regular TGATP readers know, I am a huge fan of the Riviera Maya region in Mexico. Samsung blue lit up the side of the 34th St Post Office as they launched the Galaxy Note II with a big bang. As widely anticipated, Apple held a press conference to announce its new slate of iPads just in time for the holiday shopping season. Boy, did iPad 3 buyers get screwed!

I wrote this back in 2016. But, Lord knows, I need good fortune in 2025 after having another one of the most tumultuous years of my life. In addition, we are idiotically going into a very scary time with a criminally insane, coup-staging, convicted felon, serial rapist, and complete moron as the President of the United States. So, I am reposting this story with the hopes that we will all — individually, and as a nation — have good fortune in 2025.
