This Fashion Week, we all celebrated the arrival of the first grandchild for famed celebrity and society photographer, Patrick McMullan. Little Zelda was the belle of her first ball and we all adore her!
We just wanted to take a moment and say “Congrats!” to Kira the new Miss America! We had the honor of having dinner with her at the Jennifer Mueller/The Works gala this part summer and she was a peach of a gal.
As a woman of considerable experience, it often appalls me to watch the way in which many of my gender have totally lost the plot and surrendered their power. Rhianna and Janay Palmer, now Mrs. Rice, are just the most recent examples of women, who have stood by their abusers. Hell, Janay was even dumb enough to marry a man, who came close to killing her! This has got to stop. NOW.
We cannot do enough to the wonderful elders that endured so much to take care of their families. This September is National Grandparents Day and I love the idea of commemorating your Grandmom with these lovely charms from Trollbeads.

I wrote this back in 2016. But, Lord knows, I need good fortune in 2025 after having another one of the most tumultuous years of my life. In addition, we are idiotically going into a very scary time with a criminally insane, coup-staging, convicted felon, serial rapist, and complete moron as the President of the United States.
