On Sunday, June 2, IFC Center’s third annual Split Screens Festival continued with a Season 4 premiere screening of OWN’s Queen Sugar, executive produced by Ava DuVernay, Oprah Winfrey, Paul James and Anthony Sparks, who also serves as a showrunner.
In the ten years since I launched That Girl At The Party, I have been blessed to experience numerous wonderful performances. Hadestown is in my top three. It is without a doubt, this year’s Best Musical, deserving of every Tony nod it has received. I loved it so much that I want to see it again and again and so will you.
