Our Love for Lilly Pulitzer had us naturally very excited about the #LillyForTarget collaboration. But oh, how we endured! From an overtly racist incident with the outside PR agency at the editor event to two days of badly stocked pop-ups and stores, our patience was seriously put to the test. Here, from a business and a shopper point-of-view, are our suggestions for better handling of future designer collaborations.

Most years, I meticulously plan my Black Friday shopping with a list of everything I plan to buy and all the promo codes typed out. But this year, since I had pretty much done all my holiday shopping, I only made one stop and that was Target. With over 500 items on sale, there were tons of bargains on those last minute items I needed like gift wrapping paper and tape. And, as an added bonus, no fights broke out like those posted on YouTube at other retailers. I was met with tons of happy shoppers and a great staff, who even helped me take a pic when my camera died. Check out these great deals!

Black Friday, the day we wait for all year, the Superbowl of shopping,which leaves stores in the black and customers in the red, has arrived! Here are the sales from stores, large and small, culled from across the web that we are excited about this year.
This Sunday morning, put on your running shoes, skip church, and make sure to be the first across the Target doorway! The Jason Wu for Target line is set to send women into mad shopping frenzies. Ranging in price from $19.99 to $59.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $49.99 for handbags and scarves, the Jason Wu line will be available Feb. 5 through March 6, 2012 or until supplies last at most Target stores and on Target.com.
