I am wild for the new Victoria Secret fragrance, Bombshell. A delicate blend of purple passion fruit, Moscato d’Asti grapes, yellow peonies topped off by notes of Vanilla Orchid and Italian Sunstruck Pine, Bombshell is boldly sexy yet coquettishly subtle. The launch event in LA featured a bevy of Vickie’s Secret beauties including Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, and Lily Aldridge.
According to Victoria Secret head nose Mark Knitowski, ““Together, the sparkling fruits are balanced by sultry warmth for a fresh sensuality that is confident, sexy, glamorous and ultra-feminine.” He further states “We designed this fragrance to be instantly memorable, one of a kind. Just like a Victoria’s Secret Bombshell.” Bombshell is so lovely and light that you can confidently buy it for every TGATP gal on your holiday list as I have yet to find anyone who doesn’t just love it!
Those of us, on the Right Coast got to sample the fragrance in the lovely Victoria’s Secret Lounge during NY Fashion Week. The best of the many lounges this year, it featured samples of Bombshell and Victoria’s Secret makeup, an amazing skin treatment that took years off guests’ faces (I am DEFINITELY getting more of these), VS makeup applications by the lovely artist Lauren Cosenza, manicures, yummy snacks including Billy’s Bakery cupcakes, and a gift bag with a VS gift card and some lacy panties in the guests’ individual sizes (loved this touch as most companies just do one size – small!). A relaxing oasis between shows, this was a lounge done completely right!
