While summer used to be my favorite season, my Mother’s death two years ago just as the weather started heating up, has made me now prefer the Fall. I love the anticipation of a new beginning that first day of school feeling, that the Fall always brings. And I also love the frenzy of shopping for both pieces to update our Fall wardrobes and holiday gift giving,
The kind people at the Limited invited me to the opening of the at the new store in Newport Mall this past weekend and shopped till I dropped. Well, I spent double the amount on the card (Yes, gasp! I actually spent my own money on full price items!) because there were just too many adorable pieces to choose from. The Merino Tees are a must in every color and the cigarette pants on Navy have my name all over them when I return.
The staff were so friendly and helpful and kept the dressing room open well past the usual time as I was trying on the entire store. The Spirit of my Mama was definite in the house as she used to shop till they threatened to bring the dogs out on her!
When I first arrived, cards were being passed out which determined how much of a percentage you could get off on full-price items. Well it was my lucky day because my card gave me a full 40% off! I was on the hunt for tops and scored five new tops for next to nothing, so I was a very happy Limited shopper. One thing I would like to see is for the Limited to expand their sizes, as a lot of the things I wanted ran small. But then I want to drop 40, so with the clothes so desirably hot, I may just haveta finally be more serious about that diet I keep planning to start.
The new Limited is located in the Newport Mall. Take the Path train from the City to the Newport stop and the Mall is right across the street from the station.
