Today I am celebrating the 70th year since the birth of John Lennon, my favorite Beatle! I’ve always loved John for his reported quick witted cheekiness and his activism. “Imagine” should be the world anthem and if we all just listened to his message, we could end so much unnecessary suffering in the world! I will be listening to Beatles and Lennon songs all day and will head over to Central Park for both the annual sing song at Strawberry Fields and the public screening of PBS’s “LennonNYC” this evening. Just IMAGINE peace and “nothing to kill or die for a brotherhood of man”. I will always love and miss you, John!
