The Supper Club NYC, an exclusive private members organization devoted to creating exceptional experiences, held a Marie Antoniette themed dinner last night at Orsay (1057 Lexington and 75th St.). The evening was hosted by NYC founding member, Adam Aleksander with drinks sponsored by Bulldog Gin. The guests were elegantly kitted out in period costumes imaginatively evoking the 18th century. I was especially fond of the costumes that were home-made, rather than rented, as they displayed whimsical spirits on the parts of the individuals sporting them. One member reminded me of Lady Gaga in his over-the-top frock and several women went the saucy route, much to the delight of my fellow photog, Marc Dimov from Patrick McMullan’s stable!
More than just a members only organization, The Supper Club is a social association bringing together talented, interesting, like-minded individuals for exclusive salon-style soirees in alluring locales across the globe.
Reviving the traditional ways of entertaining in a fresh and unconventional way, founder and Brit entrepreneur Tamsin Lonsdale hosts up to ten private happenings each month at the hottest restaurants, secret watering holes, gorgeous residencies, and least likely of places to charm the charismatic and connected crowd that makes up the membership base.
With high style, a discerning palate, and a unique sense of whimsy, The Supper Club is now serving London, New York, and Los Angeles. For more information on how to join this fun organization, go to: www.thesupperclubinc.com.
