Restoration Hardware celebrated the opening of “The Flatiron Gallery” at their 22nd Street store with a fete sponsored by Elle Decor to benefit God’s Love We Deliver. The new gallery houses a carefully curated collection of hand made pieces developed by an international roster of distinguished artisans. Collectively referred to as The Artisan Collection, the assortment of large-scale furnishings is displayed in a series of styled vignettes. Restoration CEO Gary Friedman took a personal role in the creation of The Artisan Collection. He traveled the globe with a team of experts seeking inspiration and cultivating relationships with world renowned artisans. I love the pieces and hope to add some to my newly renovated apartment. I was also happy to attend a benefit for God’s Love We Deliver as they do such vital work providing hot meals to those who are suffering form HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other serious illnesses. The organization prepares and delivers over 3,000 meals every weekday, year round. In addition, GLWD provides nutrition education and counseling to their clients and their families and care providers.
