Last night, Janelle Monae delivered another of her knockout performances at the MNG by Mango for JC Penney launch at Capitale (130 Bowery @ Grand St.). The event was gloriously star studded with Anne Heche and her beau and new Grey’s Anatomy hottie, James Tupper, Katie Lee Joel, pop and R&B singer Kat DeLuna, Kelly Rutherford of Gossip Girl, Real Housewives of New York’s Alex McCord and husband Simon van Kempen, Samaire Armstrong of Entourage, Tinsley Mortimer, Isabel Lucas of Transformers, former “RENT” star Daphne Rubin-Vega, Darren Pettie of Mad Men, Zoe Lister Jones of Salt, Food Network host Nadia G., David Fumero and his wife Melissa Fumero, Mark Lawson from One Life to Live, Michael Copon of Hawaii 5-0, Adrienne Bailon of The Cheetah Girls, Tracy Antonopoulos, Isabelle McNally, DJ Mia Moretti along with her sidekick violinist Caitlin Moe, and The Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky.
The evening featured a fashion show of the adorable new MNG by Mango line, as well as, the riveting performance from Janelle. As any regular TGATP reader knows, I am MAD MAD MAD for Janelle Monae! There simply are no words to describe how awesome she is!
