Esquire threw a rollicking fete to celebrate the premiere of Michael Moore’s new film “Capitalism: A Love Story.” The party took place in the Esquire Soho apartment, which was a tricked out penthouse with stunning views and amazing amenities. From an outdoor hot tub (I wanted to jump in but didn’t have a swimsuit handy!) to a fully functioning performing/recording studio, this apartment had everything a bachelor/bachelorette could want. In addition, guests could play poker, take photos at the photo booth, and play pool on a table that had a laser sensor that illuminated the balls! Once I discovered the studio, my Band-Aid side took over and I spent most of my evening listening to folks jam. (John Legend came through but, unfortunately, didn’t create a forever moment and gift us with a song.) We had a particularly special treat when Canadian phenom, Sierra Noble, who was in town to film the video for her latest single, serenaded us. Great food, a fun crowd, loads of party activities, and small intimate musical performances, made this a TGATP perfect evening out!
