Since the first event in Central Park in 1994, the Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation, in collaboration with QVC, has raised over $30 million and sold over 1 million pairs of shoes to benefit breast cancer research and educational programs nationwide.  The event supports scientists conducting research at some of our country’s premier hospitals and foundations specializing in breast cancer research.  Each facility specializes in an individual facet of breast cancer research.

This years’s event, hosted by Jessica Simpson, held at the Frederick P. Rose Hall (Broadway @ 60th) raised funds for the following:  The Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The Center for Women’s Cancers at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Centers at John Hopkins, The University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Breast Oncology Program, The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute of the University of Arkansas for Meidcal Sciences, The Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine and John Wayne Cancer Institute Breast Cancer at Saint John’s Health Center.
