I am going to do what I am appalled that The Washington Post and the LA Times were too cowardly and corrupt to do. I am going to use my pages to endorse Kamala Harris for the Presidency of the United States.
Kamala Harris is a career civil servant. From being a lawyer to a DA to a Senator for California to the Vice President of the United States, Kamala has spent her entire life in service to the American people. On January 20, 2021, Kamala Harris was sworn in as Vice President – the first woman, the first Black American, and the first South Asian American to be elected to this position.
As Vice President, she has worked to bring people together to advance opportunity, deliver for families, and protect fundamental freedoms across the country. She has led the fight for the freedom of women to make decisions about their own bodies, the freedom to live safe from gun violence, the freedom to vote, and the freedom to drink clean water and breathe clean air. While making history at home, she is also representing the nation abroad – embarking on more than a dozen foreign trips, traveling to more than 19 countries, and meeting with more than 150 world leaders to strengthen critical global alliances. There is no one in America better suited to be our next President than Kamala Harris, and when compared to who she is running against, there is no other viable choice.
The Washington Post and LA times not endorsing a candidate in the US Presidential elections for the first time in almost 50 years when the choice is between Kamala Harris, a career civil servant, who has devoted her life to helping the American people over trump, a criminally insane, moronic, racist, misogynistic, narcissistic psychopathic, serial sexual assaulter, serial adulterer, pathological liar, 5 time draft-dodging vet hater, convicted rapist, convicted felon, tax evading, fraudster, coup-staging, wannabe dictator, and traitor with a fascist playbook he renamed Agenda 47, which is the same as Project 2025, is a slap in the face to American democracy!
trump and the GOP’s Project 25/Agenda 47 calls for total immunity for cops to kill black people, the monitoring of women’s menstrual cycles and pregnancies and criminalization of our reproductive health choices, mass deportations of illegal and legal immigrants, the elimination of public education, the FBI, DOJ, CDC, FDA, FEMA & National Weather Service that help with these increasing hurricanes and natural disasters, all gun control measures, all environmental regulations, Obamacare that provides healthcare for 45 mil Americans and makes health insurance companies cover pre-existing conditions, all voting rights, civil rights, and LGBTQ rights including gay marriage, freedom of speech and religion, the persecution of anyone that does not take an oath to trump and he feels has crossed him —including the Bidens, President Obama, General Milley, Jack Smith, the Clintons, Nancy Pelosi, and more —the elimination of the Constitution, the consolidation of all power into the Executive branch & more terrible things that would totally destroy America and end our democracy.
In addition, trump said he will pull us out of NATO and allow Russia to take over Ukraine and Israel to totally annihilate the Palestinians while instituting a Muslim ban in the US. He also stated he will be a dictator on Day One!
WaPo, under Bezos and the LA Times under Lewis are now complicit in trying to help trump win. Because the choice not to endorse Kamala Harris sends a false message that neither candidate is worthy of endorsement and that they are somehow equal, when they clearly are not. Not endorsing Harris over trump’s clear criminal insanity is an endorsement of trump and all the evil and havoc he plans to wreak on our country. Shame on the cowardice and cynical self-interest of Bezos and Lewis, who both put their own pockets over the nation and the world.
I am not afraid. I am endorsing the one person that should be our next President and that is Kamala Harris.
