Wine, delectable food, and a beach – what could be better on a perfect summer evening? Sud de France’s Kickoff Party for their upcoming festival was a lovely blend of wine and food pairings that was a great way to start the social week. The featured wines were from the Languedoc-Roussillon region and Cedric Tovar, of Django and Peacock Alley fame, prepared the exquisite foods. I was particularly taken with his yummy peach salad for dessert! The Sud de France Festival will take place in NYC throughout the month of October and brings together wine producers, importers, wholesalers, restaurateurs, wine bars, sommeliers, and chefs in an array of parties and tastings.
