I got an early jump on Spa Week with a wondrous 80-minute massage at the Acacia Spa. I had the hot stone massage from Jenny and she worked every knot I have ever had out of my body with a magical combination of light touch and kneading pressure. Jenny is an amazing masseuse so book her if you can. She was attentive and quiet, allowing me to completely leave this physical plane, while she healed and alleviated my stress. She even made sure to have water at the ready, as soon as, my massage was done.
Although I usually review more luxurious spots, this spa was simple with no frills. While it it nice and clean, I would love to see them upgrade a bit with more plush towels, some aromatherapy and please, lose the petroleum jelly and bring in some essential oils to display. Also, the walls are very thin. So do not be alarmed if you hear sounds or talking coming from the other rooms. Overall, this is great place for when you just want a quick bodywork session with no muss or fuss.
