I missed the Organic Spa Event this year due to daft event PR that claimed a half full event was “at capacity” and inexplicably attempted to keep their exhibitors from being covered. However, I will never let such blatant racism, or any other form of stupidity, keep me from recommending truly great products. Since I fortunately already know (and love) most of the exhibitors from the event, here are my favorites:
MyChelle – I have been mad for this brand for over 6 years now when I first met them at a Whole Foods Beauty Event. Their newest products Perfect C Pro Serum and Liquid Tint, a softly tinted sunscreen in two shades, are both sheer perfection. I will be doing a more extensive review of these products once they arrive. I was gifted with the new Quick Clean Micellar Water, which I used last night and it is awesome. I plan to keep it on my nightstand. Because I am often so exhausted that I skip my full nighttime routine and need a great facial cleanser nearby. Savannah Bee – I first saw this brand at a beauty expo a couple years ago. The Royal Jelly Body Butter should be in every bathroom in your home. A trio of these products in a box make a perfect Mother’s Day gift.
Aura Cacia – Aromatherapy is integral part of my daily routine. So naturally, I live for Aura Cacia, the first aromatherapy brand I ever experienced. It is simply the best. I attended a wonderful event for them a couple years ago and learned how to make homemade scrubs with their products. Here is their recipe for a wonderful sugar scrub:
Sugar Indulge Body Scrub
3 Tbsp Aura Cacia Sweet Almond Oil
1 Tbsp Aura Cacia Vegetable Glycerin
44 drops Aura Cacia Indulge Essential Oil Blend
1/3 cup Brown Sugar

Spa Ritual – I have always equated SpaRitual with great nail products. But happily, the brand does so much more! Try their amazing body lotions, masques and butters.
Pura Botanica – These truly are “everyday luxuries for everyday Life” and who doesn’t need more of those? Exquisite fragrances and all natural ingredients, these are must-have products.
JR Watkins – Created in 1868, JR Watkins was organic before there was a need to state that a product was organic. The product line includes bath and body products, home care products, and health products. I also discovered today, that JR Watkins also makes gourmet items like natural food colorings, herbs and spices and more.
