Like every TGATP gal, I am totally mad for shoes! (My mother is the literal Imelda Marcos of shoes! Seems like she has thousands of pairs!) And nobody does shoes better than Jimmy Choo! Last night at Saks Fith Avenue, Jimmy Choo Founder and President Tamara Mellon, more properly addressed as the “Shoe Goddess” unveiled the new Jimmy Choo 24:7 line. Featuring Tamara’s favorite styles updated in new exciting colors materials and heel heights, the collection includes an assortment of iconic Jimmy Choo styles including some Red Carpet favorites.
There were all manner of glittering faces in attendance to celebrate the new line including: Tamara Mellon herself, Brooke Shields (who, even though I worked with her for months on “Lipstick Jungle,” didn’t seem to recognize me with the new tresses!) Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr (who finally let TGATP get a shot! All her castmates drop for a pic on a dime while she is usually a bit difficult), Harper’s Bazaar Doyenne Glenda Bailey, Chairman of Saks Fifth Avenue and CEO, Steve Sadove and that complete doll of a gal, DJ Alexandra Richards.
