It’s holiday season and Christmas time! I love the holidays so much that I put my tree up by November 1st and this year to take my mind off all the crazy that is going on in this country with this election. (I mean, c’mon America! The GOP are actually running 299 election deniers and insurrectionists and these are close races??)
This Christmas is extra special since it might be our last as a democracy and my last living in the States. I have to zone out. Starting today, I plan to have popcorn and healthy snacks and watch a ton of holiday films to drown out the chaos. While the Hallmark Channel is still making producing almost all lily-white films, there are some choices with more diverse casts on BET+, Lifetime, Bounce, and most other networks.
