Just got to tour the brand new Forever 21 (693 Fifth Avenue b/t 54th and 55th) and it’s awesome! With five full marble floors of mega-deals, this is sure to become a TGATP hot shopping spot!

During my visit, the staff were sweethearts and I scored a cute funnel necked coat and a adorable herrinbone blazer for under $100. My favorite pieces were the jackets that reflected this year’s military trend. There was even a military-style fleece, which was an innovative twist. Having lost my favorite hat on the way over, I was also able to replace it for a mere $6.80! My one bit of advice to the brand is to start making real sizes for real women. A large should not be a 8/10 in a dress! The coats fit but the dresses were all too small. While they recently started a plus line for really big women, there is no reason that there should not be more options from the regular line for a size 12 woman, like myself!
To celebrate their new location, Forever 21 has planned a variety of exciting customer giveaways and in-store experiences for the store’s grand opening. The first 400 customers in line on November 20 will receive a free gift card with secret values up to $210. In addition, shoppers who spend over $20 on opening day will have the opportunity to “test their luck” on the Forever 21 claw vending machine filled with Forever 21 makeup palettes, accessories, and more. Opening day customers will also enjoy exciting activities throughout the space including red carpet paparazzi photo booths, candy trays, a DJ and other fun surprises.
Forever 21 can’t be beat for fashion on a budget and now that it is on Fifth, you can make it Breakfast at Tiffany’s and lunch at Forever 21!
