Manhattan Chamber of Commerce (MCC), a business membership organization boasting over 15,000 members and subscribers that serves as a primary resource and advocate for the over 100,000 businesses in Manhattan, has paired up with social concierge service myEZBZ to launch a special virtual concierge platform. The concierge enables users to easily find products or services offered by local businesses and for those businesses to bid on the user requests.

For users who want to support businesses within the MCC’s network, they are now able to go onto http://myezbz.com/marketplace/manhattancc and complete a request form within the myEZBZ platform. Once a user has completed their request, including location and details of any possible need and applicable images, it is then sent out to all applicable businesses within the user’s area.

Businesses who would like to enroll in the myEZBZ program can do so through the Manhattan Chamber’s website (www.manhattancc.org) by clicking on the Virtual Concierge Tab under the site’s Business Directory drop down menu. From there, business owners and representatives may fill out a form accessed through the platform’s menu. Once a member of the myEZBZ community, businesses are able to respond to any user requests received through the application for the cost of just $3 per request; although businesses that reply within the first 90 minutes are rewarded with a discount, enabling them to reply for $1. Bulk and additional pricing packages are also available. In comparison, a request submitted through a Google link costs $5 per click, a price not all businesses are able to afford. Additionally, EZBZ allows businesses to respond to these requests via email, phone or text, ensuring that each bid submitted through the platform may be responded to in real time.

Through this partnership, the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce offers day-to-day support to local businesses while EZBZ, Inc. offers the only technology that levels the playing field and allows local businesses to succeed in the digital space. This is because with the myEZBZ platform, local businesses can compete with large corporations even if they do not have a website, search ranking or advertising budget. Accredited, reputable businesses are automatically offered the opportunity to bid on consumers’ needs using the myEZBZ platform, which is available via web, and for free download from the Apple App Store and in Google Play Store. This partnership is a part of EZBZ, Inc. Founder and CEO Shana Schlossberg’s larger vision of ensuring the success of small businesses in the digital age.

EZBZ and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce both wish to ensure that all businesses are able to succeed in the 21st Century, and believe we must empower local businesses promoting fairer online practices. Through our partnership with Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, EZBZ provides a space where users looking to buy local and businesses looking to connect to their communities are now able to do so easily. EZBZ levels the playing field between large multi-national corporations and small, family-owned businesses,” said Schlossberg.

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, which celebrated its 95th Anniversary in 2015, was established to act as an advocate for small- to medium-sized businesses through community initiatives and works to help the city’s entrepreneurs prosper. As such, the EZBZ mission fits perfectly with their goals. For MCC, this partnership with EZBZ enables the organization to continue its longstanding tradition of giving area businesses an opportunity to succeed.

“By giving consumers the option to choose from multiple local businesses that may not necessarily have a large web presence, these business owners now have a greater opportunity to succeed in the digital age. Additionally, our partnership with EZBZ gives users the opportunity to shop locally and bring money into the local economy, which is a chief part of our mission,” said Jessica Walker, President of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.

About EZBZ:

Established in 2011, EZBZ is an honest, social marketplace where users post whenever they seek out a product or service, and responses are generated in the form of competitive bids from local businesses. Once a query is entered, EZBZ identifies and notifies local vendors that offer that product or service, sending them a request allowing them to respond with pricing and availability. Users typically begin receiving responses from businesses in minutes and, in many cases, with accurate pricing, thus saving the consumer time spent making phone calls, comparing prices or searching online. EZBZ’s goal is to offer its users a solution that is simple, efficient and affordable, while empowering thousands of local businesses that now have an equal opportunity to bid for a consumer’s business.
