See Rise of the Planet of the Apes and The Change Up

This week, there are two new films that I can recommend that you see. For thought-provoking thrills see The Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the prequel to the Planet of the Apes series, which tells the story of how the world gets taken over by the apes in a compelling and plausible way. Then for laughs, check out the Ryan Reynolds/Jason Bateman vehicle “The Change-Up” manages to keep you rolling in the aisles while still making you think.

Celebrating Jennifer Muller and The White Room

Jennifer Muller/The Works is TGATP’s favorite dance company. Thus, I was very blessed to be invited to the Opening Night Gala for her newest work,”The White Room.” Passionate, violent, intriguing, disturbing, and thought-provoking, the piece – Muller’s first full-length dance in fifteen years – is extraordinary.

X-Men First Class ROCKS!

The first big blockbuster of the summer, X-Men: First Class positively rocks! From start to finish, it’s an unrelenting, action-packed, special effects filled, wonderful roller coaster ride of a movie! A must-see!

TGATP Loved Kung Fu Panda 2

Kung Fu Panda 2 is a barrel of rollicking fun with more storyline and far more action than the first. Finally, a movie where the 3D is actually put to use in an imaginative way that actually adds to the entertainment value. And, like the best animated films, the script provides tons of laughs for, not just kids, but every age group.
