I have a new hairdresser, who is extraordanaire! Her name is Keisha Farrell and the salon is Shic by Soketah. I love this great little Brooklyn spot as it the rare Black hair salon where you don’t have to pack a bag and stay for hours on end! In addition, is not into over processing hair and is making my natural curl lovely without the use of chemicals.
HSN had a number of must-have pieces in their Fashion Week lounge. I am mad for these boots from stylist June Ambrose and this gorgeous necklace, which would be tres chic with a LBD.
I know I will be a regular at Simit and Simit, a new hot spot that opened up just in time for Fall! The tastiest sandwiches are made on a really light weight pretzel and filled with olive paste and cheese. There goes my low-carb diet ’cause I will never be able to give these up!
