TGATP Guide to NYC Fashion Night Out 2010

Fashion Night Out is always one of the hottest events of the year!  With this year’s event lineup even more impossibly action packed than the last one, I really feel that they should extend this to Fashion Week Out, as there are just too many events for one night!  Guest appearances from the musical community are in abundance this year with Gwen Stefani expected at Sephora Soho to launch her new fragrance “Wicked Style”, Joss Stone and Train performing at Macy’s Herald Square, and Mary J. Blige is entertaining us at Bergdorf Goodman.  In addition, there is a performance by Corrinne Bailey Rae at Warren Tricomi, Bryan Adams is rocking the Calvin Klein store, Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas appearing at Saks Fifth Avenue and Pharell Williiams jamming at the Billionaire Boys Club!

Some FNO tips: You can hop on one of the Payless buses to take you to the various events.  Although with traffic so bad, it is usually best to grab a subway.  It is also best to divide your stops into regions – Upper East Side, Meatpacking, Soho, etc… and stay only a few minutes at each event!  If you get too caught up at one store, you end up missing everything else.  Make sure to buy a tee or snatch up the adorable FNO hoodie if you see one.  (Despite the fact that they are advertised on the FNO site, and one would think all the stores carrying the FNO collection would have them, only a select few seem to be carrying the hoodies.)

To make your Lives a lil’ easier,  dear readers, I have picked out what I feel will be the 20 most amazing and star-studded events for your 2010 FNO!  For a full schedule of events, please go to the FNO site at:  http://www.fashionsnightout.com/
