Nespresso CitiZ Launch

Taking over Sur La Table (@ 75 Spring St) with a massive tent and multiple chefs offering their delectable specialties, Nespresso launched their new CitiZ range of machines with a really big bang!  Partnered with Food and Wine Magazine, it was a great debut for a beautiful machine.  With a retro 40’s look, The Nespresso CitiZ is designed to please both coffee lovers and design enthusiasts.  It is THE must have coffee maker!

Nespresso made sure to promote environmental sustainability by utilizing the green power company, GreeNow to power the event.  GreeNow was founded in 2006 and caters to responsible event planners that seek to reduce the carbon footprint of their events.  It is the only company in the US to offer alternative power sources to illuminate and cool venues.

The food was amazing in particular a delicious buttermilk cake!  The only downside to this event was that despite the biggest gift bag I have ever seen (I’m talking ENORMOUS!) they did not gift the guests with the product.  These bags were so gigantic that every guest envisioned the gorgeous new machines atop their kitchen counters!  They did, however, contain two sweet little espresso cups, a cookbook and not one, but two boxes of chocolates, which no gal can ever have enough of.
