While I loved some of Kid Rock’s early hits, I had never seen him live. He in fact fell completely off the TGATP radar after he and Pam Anderson split. Then there was the unfortunate 2008 incident when he took a baffling random verbal swipe at Oprah Winfrey. But after seeing him live I am a convert! In a one hour set, he sang, played the guitar, drums and piano, rapped, scratched and drank his way through his hits, as well as, an assortment of rock and country covers! It was one of the most amazing performances I have ever witnessed at a party. So, yes Kid, having witnessed your badass self in person, I do believe that you are going to be an “awesome CMT Awards host!”
