Johnny Rockets opened it’s new Sports Lounge at the 62nd & 1st location with a party hosted by legendary quarterback Joe Theismann! Incorporated into the traditional Johnny Rockets family restaurant, the sports lounge has a full-service bar with Spirit Shakes – traditional milkshakes with an alcoholic kicker and sports-filled TV screens that are so numerous that you can see them from every seat in the lounge.
Joe, aptly nicknamed “Sunshine”, was a complete sweetheart of a guy and walked from table to table introducing himself to the guests. He even took the time to have a few words via cell phone with my elderly father, who has been an ardent Redskins fan, for as long as I can remember.
The Johnny Rockets Sports Lounge is a dream hangout for all sports fans and ladies, it will make for a great place to meet new guys!
