at FIAF Bastille Day 2019!

Join TGATP and The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) at their annual
Bastille Day celebrations, which is New York’s largest annual fête of French culture.
This year’s event will feature free live performances by French and American groups, activities for children and families, wine and Champagne tastings, a special film screening, and more than 60 booths showcasing the best of French food and Francophile culture. Attracting more than 40,000 people per year, the street fair will take place Sunday, July 14, from noon to 5pm on East 60th Street between Fifth and Lexington Avenues. Information is available at fiaf.org.

This year’s highlights include:

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

Live performances by traditional French dance hall bal musette band Les P’tites Ouvreuses, jazz singer Chloé Perrier, rock band Rodeo Joe, electric big band The Blue Dahlia, theatrical dance troupe The Love Show, and a zouk dance lesson with Franck Muhel on the Main Stage (60th Street and Lexington); French singer Gérard Chambre in Florence Gould Hall; and the Hungry March Band will parade throughout 60th Street.

FIAF’s Bastille Day on 60th Street is once again the finishing point for the annual Citroën Bastille Day Rally & RendezVous, where car lovers will be able to get up close to classic models of the popular French automobile. This year’s rally celebrates the 100th anniversary of Citroën.
