TGATP Fall Must-Have: Gap Premium Black Trousers

Submitted by on Monday, 30 August 2010No Comment

At the recent Gap Fall Preview, the stand-out pieces were the new line of basic Black trousers.  I”m absolutely mad for the Really Skinny version, the perfect cigarette pant that can be paired with everything from a graphic tee and a tight fitting blazer for that cool rock chick look to an oversized sweater for travel to a lovely blouse or fitted cardigan for evening.  I plan to live in these this fall!  They are currently sold out online and seem to be running out of the stores, so I guess there are tons of like-minded fashionistas in agreement on this item!

My second favorites are the Perfect Trouser.  With a slight flare and a comfortable fit, these pants rock!  For all those TGATP gals, who like me, are on the constant quest for great work pants, this is your perfect pick.

A tip:  The one problem with all of the Gap (and Old Navy) pants is the length is generally way too long for me.  The regular is a 32″, which I always have to have tailored and I am not a short gal.  So I usually go with the ankle version.
