Flip Me™ Dating Launches with a party at the Kimberly Hotel

Submitted by on Monday, 12 July 2010No Comment

Flip Me™ is a new novel way to meet your perfect girlfriend or beau!  Based on the belief of  “love at first sight”, the Flip Me™ cards work anyplace, anytime, you see an attractive possibility.  Instead of relying on online profiles and pictures in your search for “Mr. or Mrs. Right,” these handy cards allow you to see if there’s a real-life physical attraction before you make your move.  Simply see someone, give them a Flip Me card, connect online, and let nature take its course.  Each card includes the private online ID code of the “Flipper”, as well as a unique “CardCode”, that opens up a secure line of communication between the flipper and the individual recipient of the card. The card also contains FlipMe’s catch phrase “I’ve said, ‘What if?’ too many times. Not this time,” along with directions on how to contact the flipper.  The Starter Pack retails for $24.99 for 30 cards and includes a 3-month subscription to flipmedating.com.

Hosted by the inventors of Flip Me™ John and Rachel DeAlto and the reigning Miss New York Davina Reeves, the NYC launch party was held at the new NYC hotspot, Upstairs at the Kimberly Hotel.  No expense was spared with guests treated to plenty of food (no pesky tray divers!), an open bar, starter packs to demo, and a nice gift bag chock full of FlipMe themed swag.   I got to chat with the DeAltos , who divulged that Flip Me was inspired by their own story.  It seems that John wrote a note on a napkin and six weeks later, they were engaged!  Now the proud parents of three children, they hope to spread the possibility of “meeting cute” to couples all over the world.

Guests fueled up on liquid courage concoctions such as the Flip and Rum, Flip on the Beach, and the Olive to Flip and were taught the numerous ways to flip such as the Wingman Flip, the Serial Flipper and the Heave-And-Hope by FlipMe demonstrators!  I can’t wait to put Flip Me™ to the test on my next visit to Europe!  (Although the hot Euro guys are already pretty forward with TGATP!)
