August Gold, an amazing Spiritualist, that my sister turned me on, to once said in a lecture that you had to completely rid yourself of all reminders of a negative old situation to bring a positive new one into your Life. For example, one woman in the audience was still sleeping on the mattress her ex had bought her. To which, August asked her how she could expect a new man to sleep on her ex man’s mattress! With that in mind, I have packed away (sorry August, they are too expensive to throw out!) all my old lingerie. I bought this stuff for the famous ex that I now refer to as “Lifetime Movie Man” because he was so inexplicably shady in the end! (In a recent moment of weakness, my friends and I checked out his Facebook page. There’s a cheesy picture of him with a new chick, who looks bucktoothed and positively ancient, so felt some relief! Karma truly is a bitch!)
