Best In Beauty For Holiday 2015

Life as an entrepreneur and/or working woman can be so hectic that I have long believed in turning the home into a spa.  Gift these amazing beauty products to all the beauty addicts on your list.

Gadgets And Tools

Artis Fluenta Makeup Brush Sets | $105 to $400 – The pinnacle of elegant form meeting beauty function, these are the most beautiful makeup brushes on the market. Designed by Artis founder and former MAC Senior Executive, Matthew Waitesmith, this is the ultimate gift for the beauty loving gal on your list. The 9-brush set is at the very top of my list. There is also a more affordable limited edition 3-brush holiday set (pictured above).

NuFACE Trinity Facial Toning Device | $199 to $429 – Botox in a gadget, the NuFACE Trinity lifts lines with a painless electrical current. You can always tell when I slack off on this one, as my whole face drops. I have been an avid fan of the NuFace for years and am totally in Love with the new 18k Rose Gold NuFace Mini. For a truly exquisite gift, throw in the handy attachments – the ele for lip and eye and the wrinkle reducer –  for targeted wrinkle reduction.

Temptu Air Holiday Gift Set | $305 – Temptu has always been my favorite brand for airbrush makeup. The formula is lightweight and leaves the skin flawlessly covered. I have an older model but the new one is far better since it is cordless with a rechargeable base. This set includes one Temptu Air, one 8ml Airpod Starter Foundation, one 8ml Airpod Blush, one Color True Lipstick and a Katie Rodgers bag!  Throw in an Airpod Face Tan pod for an added bonus.

Clarisonic Mia Fit | $189 – I have been a avid Clarisonic fan for years now. In fact, they were one of the first beauty brands I worked with at TGATP and I loved their former president. The new model is an improvement in design that makes the Mia a handy gadget for at home or on-the-go. It’s travel-friendly, lightweight, and waterproof device to ensure smooth, radiant skin. It fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, cleansing up to six times better than hands alone. The two new speed settings—Delicate and Power Cleanse—remove impurities, sunscreen, and makeup. The high foaming, luxurious, milky Skin Illuminating Cleanser is specifically formulated for use with the Radiance Brush Head to remove impurities and help transform the appearance of dull skin for a more radiant-looking complexion. Add some extra brushes as a stocking stuffer.

MeSmooth Hair Removal System – Hairy gals rejoice, the MeSmooth allows you to permanently remove hair from your face and body. And unlike, its competitiors, it is painless and perfect for all skin types. This is simply a must have.

Bath and Body

The Body Shop – The Body Shop products were the first products I used as a young college kid and I have always loved everything about the brand.  This year, the company has created Oils of Life and Spa of The World, two high-end new line of oils and body creams that are a beautifully packaged addition to every bathroom cabinet. There is a product for every woman on your list at the Body Shop. And stock up on the adorable beauty Christmas crackers, which are an ode to the company’s British origins

Origins – Always at the forefront of innovative gifts for the holidays, this year is extra special. The Mini Souffle Sampler and The Perfect World Set are my picks for this season. I also always like to gift the Warm Ginger Body Wrap.

Bliss – The Bliss Spa line is another TGATP favorite. I particularly love the Body Butter, which comes in a can’t be beat set of three full sized products, every holiday. These sets are perfect holiday gifts for clients, friends and family and I always buy myself one too.

L’Occitane – The Almond oil should be a staple in every woman’s beauty regimen and every year L’Occitane outdoes itself with new box sets. This year, I am gifting the Savon de Provence set and the Sparkling Verbena set. The Holiday Advent Calendar with seventeen tiny beauty treats was an adorable idea. For Mom or any other extra special person on your list, gift the Divine Oil Collection set.

Makeup Sets

Urban Decay – My very favorite brand for eye color and liner, Urban Decay always comes out with spectacular color sets at the holidays. For the more adventurous gals on your list, go with the Vice 4 set – and explosion of bold colors. The Naked Pallettes should be staples in every woman’s kit – I have 3 – with the Smoky Eye kit, this year’s new addition.

Tarte – Lips lips lips – the tiny Tarte pencils give a sheer smudge of color that is natural and fresh. This year, I am coveting the box set of lip pencils. This is another brand that specializes in very lovely eye colors, so you can’t go wrong with a box set gift from this line.

Smashbox – Always fun and funky at the holidays, this year Smashbox has a must-have set of lip liners that every beauty lover will want to have in her kit.  I also love the Art. Love. Color Master Class kit with a multitude of colors.

Clinique – Clinique was the first beauty brand I used as a teen. I still love their various cleansing systems. Their holiday must-have is the Days Of The Week Lipstick Gift Set.

Beauty Extras

Black Lace Skin Jewelry – The temporary tattoo trend shows no sign of abating and no one does it better than Black Lace Skin. Made of Swarovski crystals and delicate cut lace, these are perfect for the elegant, yet edgy, gals on your list. The bridal line of gold is perfect for the holiday season. (TGATP Note: I loved this brand so much that I repped them last year through their launch and continue to provide creative advice.)

Camille Bobby Set – Adorable and delicate must-have little Bobby pins with jewels. Available at

Brocade Turban Headband – I really want this. A red, black and gold metallic turban – it so exotically harkens back to another era. Available at
