TGATP is mad for the Oscars!  Growing up, my Mom and I used to dress up, prepare an Oscar meal, and watch the proceedings as if we were there!  I still do that every year whether I go to a party or watch them at home.

The Annual Turner Classic Movies (TCM) 31 Days of Oscar festival, featuring 360 Academy Award-nominated and winning movies presented uncut and commercial-free, is in full-swing!  This year the films are scheduled in a format inspired by a TGATP favorite, the ever-popular Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game.  Starting with Only When I Laugh and ending with Diner, it’s designed so that each movie is linked to the next movie in the lineup through a shared actor or actress.

These films are sure to get you in the mood for the big event on March 7, 2010.   And to help with the festivities, TGATP and TCM have teamed up to offer you the chance to win a TCM Oscar Party Pack – complete with popcorn, candy, a martini shaker, coasters and more!  Just leave a comment to this post (make sure to include your e-mail as only I see it) and one lucky winner will be announced on March 3rd!
