New  York City has to be one of the worst places in the world to find decent men!  My last two were an absolute hottie Brad Pitt type, who turned out to be such a complete jerk that my friends and I now refer to him as “Lifetime Movie Man”!  A perfect doll, who actually begged me to see only him, two years later he was a completely different guy and an utter jerk!  Granted there were signs.  He once admitted that all of his exes hated him which should’ve raise a flag!  But just like the women in the Lifetime Movies, I overlooked that glaring sign of instability.  Then there was the last dude, who I probably should not have been dating in the first place, as I wasn’t that into him when we first met.  He was a short lil’ David Spade lookalike who was so verbally manic that he was like a meth head!  He just couldn’t stop talking!  And, he was so totally tied to his dog that he could never be away from the house for more than a couple hours at a time!  But he was so kind and devoted to me, that he won me over.  But his fast witty repartee while initially hilarious, became very annoying, very quickly!  Plus, he was just too short!  While I always had great relationships during my years living in Europe, in general, I just find American men too high-schoolish and boyish!  I am DESPERATELY missing European men now.  (Alas, you have to have them in their own habitat.  European men who transplant to the US quickly adopt the bad manners and frat boy mannerisms of their American counterparts!)
