TGATP Fall Must Have: Bags from Ellington

Although it is hard to believe with the temperatures soaring well into the 90’s, it is time to start thinking about that fall wardrobe!  The folks at Ellington just sent me, my first great piece for the season, their gorgeous Eva tote!  Made of soft Italian glazed leather with nickel hardware, the bag has two top handles and a detachable canvas cross body strap. (I’m not crazy about the canvas strap, which would’ve been nicer in leather, so I use the handles.) This bag is designed for the busy professional and allows you to carry your files and small laptops or netbooks in a chic briefcase alternative.  As well as, gunmetal, this lovely bag is available in purple and red.

My favorite Ellington bag is the Madison Working Tote, which reminds me of a Kelly bag.  This tote is feminine and elegant and another perfect hybrid of a handbag and a briefcase.  Beautifully constructed of vegetable-tanned, hand stained leather with antique brass hardware and two top shoulder straps, this bag is definitely on my Ellington wish-list.

And finally, there is this darling lil’ number, The Lindsay Tote, Ellington’s take on the gym bag.  This bag is so cute it might actually get me to the gym!  It is handily constructed of lightweight, crushy nylon with a stowaway compartment for your sneaks in the bottom and an upper pocket for your other gym essentials.   This is the must have bag for any sporty gal and is also perfect for those weekend getaways!
