(Having checked out someone else’s, I wrote about this as a holiday gift idea.  But now I have my own, so revamped this post to include a more thorough review.)

My favorite new phone is the Motorola Cliq! I was recently given one by the kind folks at Motorola and I can’t put it down!  A 3G smartphone,  the Cliq features Motoblur™ which streams your e-mail conversations, Facebook chats, and Twitter tweets right to the home screen of your phone, without a need for logins or apps.  You get all your friends’ latest status, updates, posts, and texts instantly on your home screen with their profile pics attached.  In addition, once I linked my social media and e-mail accounts to the phone, it automatically input all my contacts from those sources. (The one caveat is that the e-mail tends to favor Google G-mail accounts, but then this is Google android technology).  With so many events every night, I often need to Twitter or chat on Facebook with my readers and fellow partygoers from various soirees making this phone an absolute TGATP must-have!  For example, I recently ended up at an event that totally sucked (It happens. I go to up to 5 things a night!).  So this phone would’ve been very handy in getting the word out before everyone trekked downtown!  Plus, now TGATP can go live and keep readers updated on any hot gossip that might go down at an event!  The Cliq came preloaded with my favorite app Shazam (as I am always asking “who does that song?” at parties), a 5.0 megapixel camera, Wi-fi, and Accuweather, also as a pre-loaded app, which are also vital tools for any busy socialite. (I mean, how many times do we get out without those umbrellas and completely ruin your blow-outs!) One vitally needed improvement is the battery life, which if you are highly active with the phone has to be charged almost daily.  But other than that, I totally love this phone and highly recommend it, as it is a real lil’ beauty and T-Mobile also offers some truly affordable plans for it.
