Oscar Fashions were a mixed bag with 50% of the gals getting it right and the other 50% needing to slap their stylists!  Hilariously, my worst of the night was Viveca Fox, who was inexplicably tapped by TV Guide Network to comment on red carpet fashions.  She was raggin’ on other people when she looked a complete ghetto mess!  Her fuchsia colored, doorknocker earrings did not match her gown and her hair was a weird half weave affair!  Viveca put those stones down when you are living in that glass fashion house!  The second worst was Zoe Saldana sporting Givenchy, who definitely needs to fire her stylist.  This is major fashion felony number two for her this awards season!  And looking even worst then last year, Miley Cyrus bombed horribly in Jenny Packman.  James Cameron’s wife, the once absolutely stunning, former model Susie Amis was completely unrecognizable and looked far older than she is, due to a matronly hairstyle and bad makeup!  Mariah Carey, while an improvement on her usual tits poppin’ attire in Valentino, the bottom half of the dress was just wrong. Tina Fey needs a stylist badly!  Her Michael Kors dress was not the hot mess that her Zac Posen Golden Globes dress was, but it made her tummy look flabby.  Charlize Theron, who used to be one of the best dressed woman in Hollywood, has recently had faux pas after faux pas!  What was with those dreadful flowers on the breasts of her John Galliano for Dior?!  Just a big ole’ fashion don’t!  Vera Famiga in Marchesa was a ruffled fashion disaster!  The dress looked like a bed ruffle!  And finally, Laura Louie, Woody Harrelson’s wife, was a hippy mess!  While he was dressed immaculately, she looked ready for bed!

The Best:

13. Anna Kendrick in Elie Saab - Gorgeous but wish she had not chosen something so light in color.  Washed her out a bit.

12. Susan Bridges in Monique Lhuillier – Jeff’s lady looked lovely by his side.  Loved the turquoise earrings.

11. Nicole Richie in Reem Acra – Nicole is always a fashion icon and looked just lovely.  She dressed her man real sharp, as well.

10. Sarah Jessica Parker in Chanel – The Sixties elegantly revisited.   Only shame was the mussed up hair.  Were her and Matthew fooling around in the limo on the way?

9. Penelope Cruz in Donna Karan – I always love Penelope.  She is fresh but elegant at the same time.

8. Queen Latifah in Badgley Mischka – The best dressed of the fuller figured gals.  Just amazing.

7. Cameron Diaz in Oscar de la Renta -  Airy and youthful.  Perfect California girl looks with bright red lips.

6. Meryl Streep in Chris March – Meryl just shone so brightly and I loved her earrings, as well.  Wonderful look on a wonderful lady!

5. Carey Mulligan in Prada – Flirty and adorable with interesting embroidered jewels and gorgeous earrings from Fred Leighton.  Like a younger, even cuter, Mia Farrow.

4. Jennifer Lopez in Armani Prive – Stunning.

3. Demi Moore in Atelier Versace – Flawless gown and bag. But Demi needs to be careful as the botoxing around the eyes starting to give her that telltale surprised look that all of Hollywood is sporting.

2. Kate Winslet in Yves St. Laurent – A TGATP favorite in a sheaf of silver accessorized with lovely citrine jewelry.  She just never seems to put a foot wrong on the carpet.

1. Sandra Bullock in Marchesa – The most elegant of the night in a cream-colored gown with floral embroidery.  She was amazing in every way and beautifully evoked old Hollywood.
