With its parallels to the experiences of African-Americans and the universality of the trials that women still experience, I have not loved a movie as much as this in a very long time. From start to finish, I laughed, I cried and I rejoiced and by the end, I was on my feet! If you see only one movie this month, make it the “The Sapphires”!

Such was the case of the horrible CNN reporting on the rightful guilty verdict in the Steubenville rape trial. I wanted to jump into my TV and slap both Poppy Harlow and Candy Crowley, who openly sympathized more with the two brutal rapists than the poor victim!

I was blessed to be invited to a launch party for the new flavor and the Boxed Water One Tree Planted initiative at SoulCycle Williamsburg. The fun-filled evening featured a SoulCycle class, massages, and aura readings with yummy vegan snacks and of course, Boxed Water Watermelon.
