I have been a fan of Elvis‘ since I was a little girl!  Growing up, my local station used to have regular Elvis Weeks, where they would broadcast his movies every day at 3:00pm before the local news.  My brother and I used to race home from school on those weeks and probably saw each film a dozen times.  My last beau, who was a hottie physically but ended up being a nottie personality wise, initially stole my heart when on top of resembling Brad Pitt, he claimed to be an ardent Elvis fan!  Shockingly, when we stopped hanging two years later, he claimed he wasn’t really that into Elvis, which was the last straw in a host of bad moves on his part!  But in some ways it was a good thing he said that, as I would never have wanted to have my bad memories of him intermixed with my fond ones of Elvis!

Happy Birthday, Elvis!  I will always love ya!
