While there are some formulations that I love and regular face masking is a necessity for beautiful skin, I have always more endured sheet masks than enjoyed them. Cold and clammy, they never fit properly over my eyes, nose and mouth. A little less than a week later, I am now obsessed with this must-have beauty product. The Foreo UFO is, quite simply, the best beauty device ever invented. In just 90 seconds twice a day – that is 3 minutes per day – you can drastically improve your skin’s tone and texture.
The UFO is a smart device that features an LED light, which emits a relaxing warmth then cools and lightly vibrates, while infusing Korean mask formulations for day and night. According to their website, “UFO’s Hyper-Infusion Technology uses your skin’s natural reactions to heat and cold as well as signature T-Sonic pulsations to ensure you get the most out of every mask treatment.” The device pairs with an app on your phone to help you time the treatments. This is the one beauty product I will never be able to be without now. I am using this religiously and can’t wait till Foreo partners with more face mask companies. The only tiny change I would make is the need to scan the mask bar code on the app every single time. Maybe the app should simply store the information on the masks, so that you can simply tap on the one you are using. Otherwise this device is perfect.
Here’s How The UFO Works:
Quick-Start Mode
- Clip your UFO mask into place.
- One short press automatically activates the Make My Day Treatment.
- A second press activates the Call It a Night Treatment depending on the mask you choose.
- Gently glide UFO across clean, dry skin and massage the formula in using circular motions until the device turns off, indicating the end of your treatment.
- Use your fingers to gently pat any remaining essence into your skin, until it is fully absorbed. Follow with your favorite moisturizer.
- Dispose of the mask and rinse UFO under running water. Enjoy the glow!
App-paired Mode
- Download the FOREO app
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to pair UFO with our FOREO app. Full white light appears when UFO is paired.
- Follow instructions to clip mask in place and scan the mask barcode. The corresponding treatment will automatically sync to your UFO device.
- Gently glide UFO across clean, dry skin and massage the formula in using circular motions until the device turns off, indicating the end of your treatment.
- Use your fingers to gently pat any remaining essence into your skin, until it is fully absorbed. Follow with your favorite moisturizer.
- Dispose of the mask and rinse UFO under running water. Enjoy the glow!
