This Sunday morning, put on your running shoes, skip church, and make sure to be the first across the Target doorway! The Jason Wu for Target line is set to send women into mad shopping frenzies. Ranging in price from $19.99 to $59.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $49.99 for handbags and scarves, the Jason Wu line will be available Feb. 5 through March 6, 2012 or until supplies last at most Target stores and on Target.com.

Rich colors with classic refined styles and superior quality make the Namaste line my current favorite for functional, yet fashionable, animal friendly bags. I tote my red Monroe bag every chance I get and am so constantly asked about it that I should take out stock in the company!

I am a second generation shopaholic and constantly on the lookout for great shopping sites both in the US and globally. Check out my picks from a cute site from the UK called Viva La Diva.com, which sells designer shoes and handbags, that I just discovered!

On Thursday night, I was invited to the Nexus Showroom to meet the wonderful handbag designer Jen Mascali, who lost her firefighter father Joseph Mascali, in the attacks. In honor of all the lives lost, Jen has designed a special limited edition red tote that is a TGATP must-have.

Despite bad PR people, the Missoni for Target line is so hot that I had to cover it and MAY even brave the grabbing masses for a couple of these pieces! There are over 400 products to choose from including adorable dresses, cardigans, skirts, tights, shoes, barrettes, head scarves, and a hat – all in the signature busy Missoni prints. In addition, the home line includes glasses, trays, vases, a bicycle and some weird thing that looks like a sectional.

A survey found that women are as nervous about picking jeans as they are about choosing swimsuits! Particularly a challenge for us curvy girls, they can look downright slovenly without the right cut and color. Thus, TGATP has picked the best jeans of the season for the size 10/14 gals!

The Mad Men-ization of pop culture continues with a new limited edition collection from Banana Republic. Rather than simply recreate the styles of the era, Banana Republic Creative Director Simon Kneen, in partnership with Emmy nominated, Mad Men Wardrobe Designer Janie Bryant, updated the styles of the ’60s to stunning effect.
