Welcome to the TGATP round-up of stories and happenings that have shocked, inspired, annoyed, and amazed us this week.

While not advanced enough to know how to totally blackout the site, I stand in solidarity with the 7,000 sites, entrepreneurs, tech activists, and corporations, who are staging blackouts today in opposition to the ludicrous SOPA and PIPA bills.

Two of the world’s most beautiful and highly successful woman, Tyra Banks and Beyonce were in the news in the past two weeks with allegations that they perpetrated fraud. And a shout out to Occupy Wall Street.

This week saw the end of summer, Tiki Barber discovering he is a Black Man, a porn star is cured of HIV in one week, and most importantly, the winter white debate is resolved.

This last couple of weeks brought some very disturbing news for the US Economy with the downgrade, the cancellation of Kate Gosselin, more racist barbs against the President from far right-wing leaning Fox News, Maury-Style Baby Daddy drama for Salma Hayek’s billionaire hubby, and misquided Black folks rallying against “The Help”.
