So lovely and spiritual that I was teary eyed, Disney’s new film “Bears” is a heartwarming and fun must-see for the whole family! See it the first week to honor Earth Day and a proceed of the profits will go to the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s National Park system.
My friend and the most badass and mack diva vocalist in the universe, Sandra St. Victor lives in Amsterdam so she missed the Grammys and was asking about them on Facebook. So this post is for her!
This holiday season, there seemed to be more must-see films than ever before! I can’t remember another year when I actually wanted to see just about everything coming out. Here is a TGATP rundown.
The new musical “After Midnight,” featuring the Jazz At Lincoln Center All Stars conducted by Daryl Waters and guest stars Fantasia Barino, Dule Hill and Adriane Lenox, is a smash hit! I have NEVER had more fun and been more thoroughly entertained at a Broadway show. There are unforgettable vocal performances, rousting tap numbers, jazz jams, and FANTASIA!
While I loved “Ender’s Game”, I I found out after writing this positive review that the author of the film is a hate filled wingnut, who has expressed both racist anti-Obama views and anti-Gay sentiments. It’s an interesting dilemma that has never occurred for me. I loved this film and its story but the messenger is odious! So I guess this is another case, like that of John Mayer, where great positive artistic works are created by a total idiot.
The Broadway hit “A Trip To Bountiful” starring Cicely Tyson, Cuba Gooding Jr, Vanessa…
Jennifer Muller/The Works are my favorite NY dance company and it was an honor to join them for their 2013 gala and shoot their performance.
Definitely make it a point to see this troupe in the future as they are not to be missed.
