9 Exciting Brands To Check Out At Summer Fancy Food Show 2017

A definite foodie – my current waistline is unfortunately showing it! – The Summer Fancy Food Show is one of my favorite expos of every year! With thousands of foods from all over the world, I look forward to checking them out every year.  Here are the ones to watch this year:

Volpi – Booth

I am no longer a meat eater. But this is a recent change. If you still consume pork, then you can’t do better than Volpi. Founded in 1902 and still on The Hill in St. Louis, they’ve been serving generations of meat lovers from the same storefront for more than 110 years.

NuttZo Peanut Pro smooth

NuttZoBooth –

Founded by Danielle Dietz-Livolsi in 2008 with her sister joining the firm three years ago, NuttZo is a medley of seven organic nuts and seeds. Offering savory flavors in crunchy or smooth, NuttZo comes in 16oz. and 12oz jars or single serving 2Go packets. Sales of each jar of NuttZo help support Project Left Behind.

Saffron Road Variety

Saffron Road – Booth 5235

Saffron Road makes some of my favorite snacks and frozen foods. At this year’s SFFS, the brand  will be debuting their new packaging and sampling a wide assortment of their delicious globally-inspired products, including newly launched ChickBean Crisps made with high-protein lentils and chickpeas.

Sarah's Savory Snacks

Sarah Snacks – Booth 5056

Gluten-free and non-GMO,  Sarah’s Savory Snacks bring a whole new snacking experience to the marketplace. This new line emphasizes bold, international flavors, clean ingredients and spectacular taste. I am a big snacker so can’t wait to try this line!

Bongiovi Brand Pasta Sauces

Bongiovi SaucesBooth 3043

Matthew Bongiovi and John Bongiovi Sr.. The father/son duo are debuting their new varieties of pasta sauces and packaging, including a 9 oz double-serving pouch, saying goodbye to those half-used jars of sauces sitting in everyone’s home fridge.  New varieties include:  Tomato Basil, Hearty Garlic and Classic Curry

A portion of the proceeds from Bongiovi sauces are donated to the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation.

Eden Foods – Booth 2156

Eden Foods make everything from soy milk to sauerkraut to popcorn and oils, which are all top of the line. The company’s motto is “principled, pursuit & advocacy of pure food for all. Pure & purifying” and they definitely live up to it.

Brownie Brittle – Booth 5805

Brownie Brittle has been ruining my sugar-free diet for years! This is the yummiest dessert imaginable and I love it sprinkled over cashew nut ice cream. This year, the brand is launching  two new gluten-free options – Dark Chocolate Sea Salt and Chocolate Chip. Both have the same great brownie flavor and crunch as the original but made with gluten free ingredients. They are also launching Brownie Brittle Bites and a new product called Cookie Bites. Brownie Brittle Bites are Sheila G’s original Brownie Brittle enrobed in chocolate and the Cookie Bites are chocolate chip cookie dough enrobed in chocolate. Everything sounds like my sweet tooth’s dream!

Chocolate Stars USA – Booth 3351

Chocolate Stars USA is the premier marketer of fine chocolate brands and innovative sweet creations crafted by select producers around the world. At this years’ Summer Fancy Food Show, Chocolate Stars USA will present chocolate brands including: Chocolate Stars USA Couverture Chocolates, Christopher Elbow, Cartwright and Butler, Vanuato Kakaw, Cachet Chocolates, Havanna, and Les Chocolats de Pauline.

The Perfect Bite Co. – Booth 5818

I am MAD for these easy party appetizers. At the show, The Perfect Bite Co. is debuting three new offerings – Mini Turkey Burgers w/a Spicy Sambal sauce, Crunchy Taco Cup and Coconut Shrimp Spring Rolls! These items are perfect for snacking and will be available to order July 28th just in time for that busy back to school rush. These new options sound too delicious for words.
