Just two weeks ago, I was telling my friend how I wanted to revamp the site and have a leaner, fresher look for That Girl At The Party. Well careful, what you wish in this Age of Aquarius Instant Karma era. Because last Sunday, the site started to fail! I watched, in horror, as features started to act up While the site is mostly working again, I am developing a new fresh look for the site that hopefully y’all will still love. TGATP’s Heart Goes Out To The Boston Bombing Victims and the Newtown Families

TGATP is saddened by a week of terrorism from some wingnut and his brother in Boston and irresponsible partisan idiocy from the US Senators, who while pocketing gun lobby blood money, turned their backs on the victims and families of gun violence including the children of Newtown. The blood of all of these victims is on their hands and they are a disgrace to their parties, this country, and this peaceful universe.

Jackie Robinson Is Missing From “42”

While Brian Helgeland’s biopic “42” is an ok movie, for me it lacked one crucial element – the man the film is supposed to be about Jackie Robinson! I wanted this to be the definitive movie on Robinson’s life but instead walked away with as many questions about him as I came to the theater with. Calling on Spike Lee to make a true biopic on this iconic hero!

Evil Dead Is A Gorefest That Misses The Horror Mark

The best scary movies – like “Paranormal Activity 1 and 2 – leave you scared once you LEAVE the theatre and are in the dark confines of your home. However, The Evil Dead is cartoonish and will not jar your nerves even if you hear a bump in the night.
