The first major event of the year was the NY Premiere of the TLC documentary “Brace for Impact”, which chronicles the amazing story of Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberg and his heroic landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson in January of 2009.

Hosted by TLC President and General Manager Eileen O’Neill and Captain Sully, the screening and reception took place at the Walter Reade Theater (Lincoln Center Plaza).  Guests in attendance included:  R&B sensation India Arie, SVP of IMG Fashion Fern Malis, Caroline Hirsch, Eric Villency, and the “Chicopee Six”, the group of passengers/friends who were integral in the rescue/evacuation efforts and the NY Waterway ferry-boat rescue crew.

Narrated by Harrison Ford, “Brace for Impact” airs on TLC this Sunday, January 10th at 9/8c.
