It’s Complicated Private Screening and Reception

Writer/Director Nancy Myers (rt.)
Universal Pictures hosted a downtown private screening of the new Meryl Streep/Alec Baldwin vehicle “It’s Complicated” last night. Following the screening, we were spirited off by bus to a wonderful fete at the sparkling Gramercy Park Hotel Rooftop (2 Lexington Ave @ 21st) for a party where dinner and Red Bull infused cocktails were served. In attendance for the evening were the movie’s writer/director Nancy Meyers, cast members Lake Bell, Hunter Parrish, Zoe Kaplan, and Caitlin Fitzgerald, and executive producer Suzanne Farwell. I also spied Survivor host Jeff Probst and the two lovely guys from “Ugly Betty”, Michael Urie and Mark Indelicato.

Had a wonderful hoot and a holla with the riotous Rachel Dratch, formerly of SNL she is set to appear in a full slate of comedies in 2010. We were having a juicy dish about the media lunacy surrounding, the formerly reclusive, Tiger Woods. I was particularly flattered that I could crack her up and that she told me I was funny, as she is comic genius!
